About Gabriela

I have helped all of my students achieve their desired tests scores and grades in math classes and standardized tests. I use my experience overcoming my math struggles to make learning math simple. Students respond very well once they have this understanding, which makes them confident when taking tests. I teach test taking strategies that help increase accuracy, and maintain calm through out the test. I also tutor Spanish language skills at all levels, and can teach lower-level math in Spanish. While in Puerto Rico, I gave math lessons in Spanish for four months. Connecting with students unleashes their math potential. By using methods I developed, my students leave their sessions having mastered the math concepts that were presented. The comment I hear most from my students is, "I'm not afraid of math anymore."
