About Gabriela

Since I was about 7 years old, I've attended a sleep away camp and have seen first hand how the cabin leaders made it their mission for their campers to have such an amazing summer camp experience. There is a lot of trust a parent has to share to be able to drop their children off for a two week session. Now, I hold the title of a cabin leader and have learned how wonderful it is to see how campers can change and grow over the span of two weeks. I am responsible of taking care of younger kids from the age 8-11. This job has brought me so much joy and has given me the privilege of learning how to express good leadership skills, manage my time wisely, have great communication skills, boosted my creativity, and has increased my confidence. I live with three other roommates off campus and have learned how to prepare healthy meals, perform housework, and maintain a daily schedule. I can even help with homework if need be. I am also Life Guard, CPR, and Mental Health First Aid certified.
