About Gabriella

Hi, my name is Gabby! I am a Hoboken native. I just graduated from SPU with a bachelor's degree in Communication. As the eldest grandchild of my family, I often babysit my younger siblings & cousins ranging from ages 6 to 11. From 2015-17 I babysat A, an 11-year-old boy. I picked him up from school & brought him to his after school activities before bringing him home when his parents would get home from work. In 2018 I cared for V, a 9-year-old girl who I picked up from school & cared for throughout the summer. In elementary school and high school I participated in the Peer Leadership Program & Amazing Race mentorship. Through my university, I did work study for America Reads in which I tutored and played with kids at a local elementary academy. I am often told that I am patient, fun, and responsible. I love children & helping them succeed, whether it is through tutoring, serving as a mentor, or just being there to make them feel happy, safe & confident. :)
