The best part of working with kids is being able to create a positive impact on a child's life. It is incredibly rewarding to be a contributor to a child's growth and expansion of knowledge. I currently work as an Elementary School Special Education Paraprofessional. I work in a self isolated K-5 special education classroom. I work with students who have a range of physical and developmental disabilities. Prior to this, I was a Nanny for two boys ages 2 and 4. My duties included getting the kids up and ready for school, bringing them to and from school, appointments, extracurricular activities, etc; meal preparation, light housekeeping; and creating lesson plans to advance their academic and personal growth. I would also watch the boys full time in the summers. I was a nanny for this family for over two years. I spend my free time running and reading!
