About Georgia

Hello! My name is Georgia H and I am a rising junior at Colby College. I am majoring in English and double minoring in Studio Art and East Asian Studies. I have lots of experience working with kids, from babysitting to being a camp counselor. For two summers (2018 and 2019) I was a Lead Counselor at Camp ABC in Weston, a day-camp for four and5-year-olds. Further, I have babysat on and off since eighth grade (ages 3-13). At Colby, I mentor a third grader in the Waterville Public Schools. I am also certified in Wilderness First Aid (CPR, First Aid, etc). I am comfortable cooking and preparing meals (I am also an avid bread baker!) as well as helping kids with school work if need be. I am looking for a summer job, whether it be nannying or acting as a "Parent's Helper" of sorts. I have a car as well. Ideally, I would like to work between 20-30 hours a week; I am available now through mid-August. I love being with kids and would enjoy spending the summer helping you out!
