About Gina

I'd describe my personality as cheerful, inquisitive, and adventurous. I like working with kids because they are so excited to learn and grow. I'm looking for a job that feeds my need to nurture and help others. I started working with kids when I was 10 years old and babysat for church members. Then I babysat over summer breaks and then tutored in high school. I became a classroom teacher and then a children's librarian. I moved into management and after 15 years of that, I want to return to working with children. One thing you should know about me is that I am an introvert, so I understand the quiet child, but I have learned how to be extroverted, so the wild child doesn't scare me! You have to meet kids where they are. My skills include understanding the stages of child development, having patience, and encouraging the imagination.
