About Gitte

Summer greetings, I love dogs - in fact, I'm a tiny bit of a dog whisperer. I most certainly would want your dog to be happy and comfortable in his/her home so my goal is of course to make that happen. I have grown up with dogs, and I currently have two cockapoos who are litter-mates. I live in Beverly and I'm usually on care. com for nanny jobs so here is a bit about myself from that job description: As a mother of two children - one 22 and one 16 years old - I have enjoyed many hours raising and learning from children, both from my own kids as well as all from the wonderful friends my children brought into our lives. My full-time profession is in higher education: I have been a professor for the past 20+ years and plan on continuing to do so for the next 20. I have also worked as a substitute teacher (K-middle school) and as a nurse's aid at a retirement home. I love children, pets, and I love to bake, make crafts, play board games, go for nature walks, and have a good laugh.
