About Gwen
Experience: 10 yrs
I have 35 years of experience with infants to teenagers. I believe in age appropriate experiences in reading, art, drama, music, outdoor activities, field trips, etc. We live in an area where there are so many opportunities to access these and I enjoy watching the children develop their likes and dislikes based on their experiences. I also believe in the necessity for schedules and routines with a dose of spontaneity when appropriate. I haven't held a paid position for some time but I have parented my own and others' children with some success. I have volunteered in their schools and for other programs as well. I am currently looking for a career change and because I have had the most fun being a parent I thought I would look into caring for children whose parents need to access outside help for whatever reason.
