I have worked with children of all ages. I worked at a Catholic school as an after school care provider for 2 years, working with ages 3-13. I have also been a nanny to a wonderful boy. I began watching him when he was 1 and 1/2 and just recently stopped regularly watching him because his mother had a new baby and is now staying at home, but he is now 5 years old. I watched the little boy every Wednesday-Saturday for a year or so, and then every Friday-Saturday for awhile when the parents' work schedule changed. The parents even flew me out to South Carolina for a week to watch him while they got married. I do still watch the newborn and him when needed though. I have also had a long term babysitting position with a family for 3 or 4 years until they moved out of state 2 years ago. I love spending time with children, and I am in the process of getting my degree in Child Psychology. I have my Associates Degree in Humanities and Social Sciences already. I am very responsible and highly aware of my surroundings at all times. I have other experience babysitting children of all ages from newborn to age 14, as well. Besides work, I have watched up to 5 children at once, on my own. I am more than willing to be an open book to any parents in question. I am comfortable, as are the parents with me, driving children places, taking them to dinner and to the park, or where ever the day leads. But I would never bring a child outside of a parent's comfort zone and would not drive if they were not fully comfortable. However, I am a very safe driver, especially when children are involved. Their safety is always my #1 priority.
