About Haley

My previous work experience with kids and teens includes working as a summer camp counselor at an overnight camp (supervising 10-12 kids), working as the arts and crafts coordinator at an overnight camp, serving as a youth worker in a group home for at-risk teens (supervising up to 7 teens at a time), volunteering as a Youth Education and Advocacy intern with the YWCA (co-leading groups of up to 10 kids), and most recently, working at an after school program for elementary aged children in the Canal District of San Rafael (supervising 14-18 kids). My skills and interests include arts & crafts, team-building activities, active games, board games, community service, creative projects, outdoor/nature activities and homework help. I would thoroughly enjoy designing and planning activities to do with your children, based on their interests and needs. I have also worked in a couple of positions (youth worker and personal assistant) that required some cleaning, chores, and light cooking, in addition to supervisory and assisting tasks. I would be happy to look after your pets, as well.
