About Halley

I have experience in the childcare field since 1995. I have an applied study of child growth and development, state trained in emergency and safety procedures including first aid/CPR & communicable diseases. I have experience in special needs individuals; (nutritional, medical, behavioral, & developmental requirements.) I practice positive interaction and guidance techniques in order to best suit the individual(s) I am caring for. I am educated in a variety of learning theories, & curriculum. I use developmentally appropriate practices implementing skill building and individual growth at a self paced level. I am a person who is patient, caring & kind individual who loves children and teaching them new things while encouraging & showing them that learning is fun. I take being a part of a family's and child's life very seriously and see it as a commitment and a blessing. I have a 4 yr degree and have worked for preschools as well as in persons homes.
