About Hallie

I started babysitting when I was 10-12 years old, I love to cook and bake, sometimes I even let the kids help me in the kitchen. I've done finger-painting, drawing, reading, crafts, playing with Legos, dolls and making the kids feel like their loved and cared for. When I get to know the kids I like to plan out some kind of activity to get interaction with the kids so they feel like they have something to do, rather than just plunking them down in front of the TV. It makes me smile when the kids are having a great time and getting along with their siblings, making me warm inside. Every time I have babysat a family, I always love reading to them bedtime stories or laying next to them in their beds until they fall sleep. Sometimes when the kids don't want to get into bed, I tell them that I will read them a story or that it's their bedtime and they need to go to bed. I have to be firm but not mean and remind them, that while their parents are out I'm the one in charge. I love kids.
