About Hannah

Growing up with grandparents who were older than most of my peers, I began learning caretaking skills at a young age. Others would always point out that I had a natural gift for working with elderly though I never gave it much thought until the passing of my grandmother in February. After several negative experiences with the hospital that my grandmother was staying in, my sisters and I began rotating shifts there to ensure that she was always advocated for and getting the best possible care. My last week with my grandmother was one of the most difficult things I've experienced, but it was also a privilege that I am so grateful to have had. My perspective and career focuses have since shifted towards transitioning to a caretaking role where I can have more time and flexibility to spend with family and pursue passions that for too long were put on the back burner.
