About Hawa

Hello! My name is Hawa, and I am a dedicated home health aide in Suffolk County. I recently completed my Bachelor of Science in Health Science at Stony Brook University and am excited to start my Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program at Molloy University. I hold certifications in American Heart Association BLS, Narcan training, HIPAA, and Home Health Aide. I have been working as a HHA since December 2019 where I have gained extensive experience in maintaining detailed records of care, ensuring patient comfort, and assisting with daily activities such as grooming, bathing, and feeding. My role has also involved safely transporting patients to medical appointments, ensuring their punctuality and comfort throughout the journey. I also worked at assisted living facilities. Additionally, my mother owns a home care aide agency, which means I have access to additional support and resources, ensuring that there are always more people available to provide care when needed.
