About Haylie

Hello parents! My name is Haylie. I'm 35 years old. I have 6 years experience as a full-time nanny with a total of 12 years childcare experience, ranging from daycare worker to children's minister. I am a certified birth doula and I typically prefer nannying for infants and toddlers, but I'm open to most ages if the family is the right fit! As a nanny, I love to feel like I'm part of the team with the parents I work for. In my experience, the relationship with the parents is as important, if not more important, than my relationship with the kid(s). While I always will submit to the parents' wishes, I do prefer a position where mutual respect and clear communication is at the forefront. I believe the Maria Montessori quote that play is the work of the child and my aim is always to cultivate a creative and playful environment in the home. I have solid references, am vaccinated against flu and covid-19 and am CPR/first aid certified-updated 08/22.
