About Heather

I am an experienced nanny with almost 10 years experience. I am a Child Development Associate.(CDA). I earned this certification while working in a Daycare caring for newborns-4 years old. I shortly after earning my certification became a lead teacher. I have a passion for teaching and nurturing young minds. I believe every play experience can be a learning experience. I engage with children by reading, doing puzzles, singing songs, dancing, using our imagination, painting, coloring, and doing crafts. I feel it is important to do activities like go to the library, the park, museums, anything with nature (farms, petting zoos, gardens). Having supervised playdates is important as well to teach social skills. Safety is always my top priority. I believe in consistency and working closely with parents to achieve what is best for the child to thrive and be happy. I am very nurturing and adore babies/children. Your child will always feel loved and safe while in my care.
