About Heather

I'd describe my personality as warm, kind, and honest. I like working with kids because they are funny & smart. I'm looking for a job that gives me a flexible schedule and good people to work for. I started working with kids when my sisters started having them 35 years ago. In my spare time, I like to read. Go on road trips. I am an amputee, I do use crutches but please know that doesn't stop me from doing most things. I can carry what I need to and hold children easily. My biggest limitations is just not being able to lift something super heavy and mopping floors is hard for me to do, but I can clean up a mess easily. I am happy to take kids to the playground and push a swing or catch anyone coming down off the slide. I love crafts myself and playing games with kids. My personal favorite place is probably Barnes & Noble, I love reading and helping kids learn to love it.
