About Heidi

Hello, my name is Heidi and I am 23 years old. I went to school for a year and a half studying childhood and early childhood education. I started with babysitting at the age of 13, my first daycare job was at Yorktown childcare center as an Infant Teacher. Some of the duties as an infant teacher include; Maintaining a clean environment by changing 10+ diapers a day while sanitizing surfaces regularly, created a safe a nurturing environment while collaborating with 3 other infant teachers, communicated with parents to understand each child's individual needs, effectively interacting with the children to meet specific milestones, and created a fun and interactive environment, planning activities that both entertain and stimulate the children. After working there I worked for a lovely family for almost 2 years until they moved states, taking care of 3 children under the age of 5 for 40+ hours a week.
