About Helena

Hi! My name is Helena, I am entering my junior year at Loyola University Maryland, and I've had several years of babysitting, nanny, tutoring, and coaching experience. I currently have a 10-year-old sister, who I helped raise, which exposed me to child care at a very young age. I am fluent in English and Spanish, and proficient in French, and I am happy to help teach your kids these languages. I am a retired Division 1 athlete, and have been coaching volleyball to kids of all ages for years. Before moving for college, I spent 2 years tutoring kids in my neighborhood and teaching them the time management and organization skills I've acquired as a student athlete, while simultaneously helping them reach and maintain stellar grades. I am a very charismatic, energetic, and active person, something my past employers and children have always appreciated. I am very disciplined and reliable, as well as flexible with rates to fit your scheduling.
