My experience with elder care is personal and I am a great emergency fill in. I can not help with bed bound adults. I am not licensed but happily sit with adults who need companionship or supervision. I will keep your parent safe. I can not help dementia patients who are violent or throw themselves on the floor. I can assist your mobile parent in shopping, keeping company or bringing to a doctor's appt. I have a great listening ear and often transport and accompany seniors. I am not licensed or trained. I have a mother with alzheimers and help many seniors. I offer good company for lonely seniors and can listen to the same story six or 60 times. I'm not certified. I can give medication you direct me to give but nothing for breathing or life threatening illness. I only work per diem or as a fill in an emergency when your aide cancels. Western Queens and Eastern Long Island only although I may be willing to travel a little depending on the day and traffic.
