About Ileana

I'm an experienced childcare provider looking for work over the summer. I'm currently in Physician Assistant school, and I will be graduating with my master's degree in early May of this year. I'm starting a post-grad fellowship program in September, at which point I will not be available on a regular basis. My experience: I have been providing childcare through Care. com for 7 years, and worked with children for 5 years before that as a babysitter, toddler nursery worker, gymnastics coach and camp counselor. I have experience working with babies and children with developmental disorders and disabilities. I am also experienced and comfortable with children in kindergarten through 5th grade. I have a bachelors degree in neuroscience, including coursework in development and cognitive psychology. I have experience providing medical care for children in a variety of settings, and am comfortable working with children with complex medical needs. I speak English, French, Spanish, and Italian.
