About Imani

I have experience babysitting since I was 14 yrs. old and have assisted at a daycare before. I worked for the YWCA Lake County as a child care consultant where I taught lessons to children ages 4 months to age 12 yrs. from a curriculum based on different literature books in a classroom setting including arts and crafts. I also, volunteer at my church and help with the children's ministry both while I am home and away at school. I have 5 nephews and 1 niece ranging from 2-13, I have watched and taught them since they were born and continue to teach them as they grow up. I currently am employed at Child's elementary in the Lincoln Consolidated School District as a special education paraprofessional. I work in a general education classroom while assisting and working with children of special needs both academic and behavior. I have a passion for working with children and it shows through my interaction with them.
