About Ivy

I have been told that I am like a modern day "Mary Poppins" and take that as a huge compliment. I am a mature (I look, act and have the energy of someone much younger than my age) and yet very playful mother of two adult daughters, and have years of experience as a licensed early childhood education teacher as well as a nanny. I have a Masters degree in special education. I have loads of experience helping children learn, and helping them with their homework, feeding them healthy meals and snacks, keeping their toys and the kitchen clean and in order, and arranging and taking children to play dates, lessons, and fun activities. I'm eager to help children with their homework and help them excel in school. Although I am very kind and playful, I try to maintain firm and consistent rules with the children. I like having fun, and the children in my care have fun when I am there!
