About Jacklyn

Hi there! My name is Jackie, and I attend Depaul University. I'm from Indianapolis, Indiana (go hoosiers!), and I love working with kids. I've worked as a counselor at a sleep-away YMCA summer camp for eight weeks, two years in a row, and plan on working the next summer as well. I've specialized in working with girls 8-13, however I've worked with kids of all ages, boy and girl, between 6-18 during my time at camp. I love dance parties, making crafts, watching movies, playing games, and anything that a kid has fun doing! -I'd describe my personality as fun, creative, and caring. -I like working with kids because they really show us how the little things in life can be so fun! I love how inspiring and creative they are, and how determined they are in everything they do. -I started working with kids when I was 15 as a counselor in training (CIT) at an overnight summer camp. However I officially started working at that camp two summers ago.
