About Jaida

Hi there, my name is Jaida and I am a junior at Concordia University Ann Arbor studying nursing with hopes to become a pediatric oncology/ neonatology nurse. My childcare journey began at the age of six when my little sister was born who was premature. I am very experienced with children of all ages but my specialty is infants 0-12 months as well as toddlers. My childcare experience began to broaden when my nephew was born in 2018 who was recently diagnosed with Autism. I've cared for my nephew since I was a senior in high school and helping him navigate the world in his own peculiar little way has always brought me joy. While caring for your children my favorite activity to play is "make believe" since becoming an adult, you forget how the mind can be free to wonder and I am passionate about children being able to let go while being free in their own world. My goal is to create a safe, loving, and supportive environment for the child and the parent.
