About Jamie

I taught middle school math for 10 years in the classroom and have been privately tutoring math for 7 years, and absolutely love it. I like being able to work more closely with the students to ensure they are getting the most out of their education. I like that I can cater to their needs and learning style. Every student learns differently which makes classroom learning so difficult for many kids since there's only one teacher and very little time to teach so many students. Since I am no longer in the classroom (but still a credentialed math teacher) I am available during school hours for families that are choosing to homeschool. I have worked with homeschool families for 6 consecutive school years now and can provide great references if needed.
