I am an experienced caregiver / STNA with 10 years experience. I currently am working for an 89-year-old gal who had a stroke in April. This affected her right side. Assist her with therapy and walking w a cane. Her right arm was also affected which may not be rehabilitated but still try to exercise and help with her as her balance is still not stable. Assist w meals, laundry, light housekeeping. Hygiene. She has a cat and I help feed and water her cat and also clean the litter box. I worked for 2 years with a Parkinson's client in Catawba Island. Paralysis of hands / arms. Walking is very unstable and always assisted with balance. Assist with showers / bed baths. Feeding. Light housekeeping. Laundry. Meals. Errands. Also, assisted past clients who had health issues. My experience with them includes those who suffered with severe COPD on oxygen 24 x 7 , dementia, confusion, mobility issues and other aging related problems. References Available
