About Janet

I am an experienced caregiver. For the past three years, I have worked with a woman who is in a wheelchair. My duties included dressing and sponge-bathing her; washing her hair; connecting her catheter to a leg bag; transferring her from bed to wheelchair; preparing her meals; and taking her to appointments and grocery shopping and on other errands and outings, both in and out of Lexington. I also do light housekeeping and other errands and chores as needed. In addition, I volunteer my time to take my 92-year-old neighbor grocery shopping and to appointments. I have also spent time reading to a woman who is blind. I enjoy working with seniors because of my close relationship with my grandmother and great-aunts and -uncles growing up. I have also raised five children. I appreciate the importance of intergenerational relationships. I m friendly yet low-key, patient and extremely reliable.
