About Janet

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, empathetic, and calm. I like caring for seniors because aging and adjusting to life in the senior community can be challenging for the individual and their family. I'm looking for a job that allows me to make a difference in someone's life. I started caring for seniors when I graduated from nursing school 23 yrs ago. I have experience in senior care, memory, and hospice care. I am a volunteer advocate for seniors through the Ombudsman office. In my spare time, I like to paint and do anything creative. I am a Reiki Master and Teacher. I have a Reiki practice and teach Reiki workshops and sound therapy at Brookdale Community College. One thing you should know about me is I am very caring and compassionate. My skills include patience, compassion, and problem solving.
