Janice nannied for our son from the time he was almost 4 months old to 18 months old. As first time parents, we were nervous at the prospect of finding a nanny. We were so relieved when we met Janice through Care.com and hired her to be our son's nanny. Janice was everything we'd hoped for in a nanny, and more. She quickly learned his routine and the details of how we handled feedings, naps, tummy time, and everything else. She was so patient with our son and so attentive to his needs. Our son quickly bonded with Janice and we knew he was in great hands. As our son grew and developed, Janice was always ready to adapt and meet him where he was. From full swaddle, to partial swaddle, to sleep training, introducing solids and preparing more elaborate meals as our son grew. She aided us as we went from tummy time, to crawling, walking and now sprinting. She made sure he spent time outside at our local park and sang and read to him. She also taught him some sign language as well as how to identify body parts and animals. Janice is also an excellent communicator and provided us with a thorough update at the end of each day. She also possesses a wealth of experience and knowledge. We would regularly ask her for her thoughts about something we were noticing with our son and she would provide her insights. If we wanted to try something new or different, she was always onboard and together we would tweak things as needed. Our son thrived under her care and we can not thank her enough for being such a wonderful caregiver for our son, and a valued partner to us as parents.
