We originally decided to get a part-time nanny for our 3 year-old due to the pandemic, and not wanting him to fall behind in learning when his daycare closed. Jaquela is consistently great with our son and continues to meet our needs. He connected with her on the first day she arrived, and her personality worked well with our family as a whole. Everyday, she balances him being a busy 3 year old and working on our learning goals with him. She has been open to our requests to include working w/ him on phonics, fine motor skills, crafts, colors, letters, his speech (he has a speech delay) and so much more. She even created a binder to keep track of his progress. She takes him on walks and to ride his bike/scooter and per our request, on day trips to the zoo, Aquarium and even the park when possible. She's very flexible, patient, caring, and communicative. And just as important, she is always receptive to ideas to help him grow and learn. She's continued to go above and beyond for him and us. Overall, she is one of the best decisions we made.
