Growing up in a large family of educators and creatives, I've developed a lifelong passion for teaching and learning. For the past 6 years, I've worked as an after-school enrichment teacher and assistant teacher, gaining invaluable experience with children of all ages. Currently, I'm pursuing a nursing degree to become a pediatric nurse, combining my love for children with my healthcare aspirations. While I've worked with all age groups, infants and toddlers are my favorite, they're so full of energy and joy. I prefer long-term opportunities, whether full-time, part-time, or as needed, as I value building lasting relationships with the families and children I work with. In addition to my professional background, I love baking, creating art, crocheting, and going on hikes with my dogs.

Jayda is extremely dependable; she's also funny, caring, friendly and creative. She takes care of our very energetic and often mischievous boys ages 5 and 8. Jayda helps with taking the kids to and from activities, helping with homework, coming up with projects for them to do, managing dinner plans for them and taking them out and about on days when there are early release from school. Our boys like spending time with Jayda and we have really appreciated the consistency in after care that her schedule has allowed for.
