About Jaymi

I am moving back to SLC this summer! I currently nanny for a family with a 1 and 3-year-old girl. Previously, I taught at a learning center as a lead teacher for children ages 18 months to 30 months. The last time I lived in SLC, I had been nannying for two families, each part time. I love incorporating learning into daily play, and assisting children in exploring their own interests. After babysitting since 14, at age 16 I started working in my church nursery, watching children ages 0-10. I have also worked at a daycare/summer camp, working with children ages 1. 5-10. I am able to work with multiple children at a time. I also have experience in staying with elementary-high school aged children while their parents were out of town (making meals and transporting them where they needed to go during that time). My goal is to go back to school in a couple of years to get my masters and find a career in helping increase access to early assessments for the neurodiverse community.
