I've been HHA for about 10 years. I assist with dressing (familiar with weakened side assistance) meal prep/cooking. Light housekeeping, medication reminders, appointment reminders. Incontinence care(urine or feces). Bathing, bed bath, some personal care like dentures, hair, nails(if permitted) I'd describe my personality as very compassionate for others, empathetic very career oriented I like caring for seniors because it's just my way of trying to help out my community. The seniors are fragile group of people and we need to love and care for them the best way we can. I'm looking for a job that allows me to have flexibility. Because I am a mother, a working mother and part time nursing student. I started caring for seniors when I graduated out of high school.
