My wife and I hired Jen to help with remote school work for our 14-year-old with special needs (intellectual delays, ADHD, etc.) and anger issues for three days a week for six hours a day with Zoom sessions and additional work on Seesaw. She was a great fit! She built a good rapport with him from the beginning, and they bonded over Star Wars and Marvel. She even stayed late to watch movies and play with him. Jen helped him greatly with his school work, including reading, math, science, art, PE, etc. She was very patient and a good instructor. In dealing with his anger, she was cool/collected and able to keep him calm. She is kind, personable, and has a good sense of humor. As my wife and I had concerns about Covid protocols, she was always cognizant of wearing a mask, social distancing, and letting us know if she was sick. We would highly recommend Jen for a a similar role or as a tutor. We are very glad we worked with her and believe she came into our lives for a reason.
