About Jennifer

I have spent several years volunteering at the Wayne County Nursing Home and I enjoyed being a companion to many people. I love helping and hearing the stories of those with more life experience than myself. I find assisting those who helped shape our world to be incredibly rewarding. My mother has MS and dementia, so I understand some of the mental and physical challenges that people in their golden years face. I am kind, compassionate, and I have the upmost respect for my elders. I can help with medications, cooking and cleaning, appointments, and planning activities and adventures; but I can also just be a friendly face to listen. I have been CPR and first aid certified, and while my certifications have currently lapsed, I am absolutely willing to recertify. Hours of availability may include mornings in the near future.
