I have worked for three elderly individuals in the past. The first person I worked for was an elderly male. I worked for his family for about 2 years. He had hospice come once a day to bathe him. I mostly just cooked his meals, clean and give him his medication. He mostly slept all day and it was an easy job to say the least. After I cared for him I worked a morning shift for a woman's parents. He father was mobile and he really didn't need help with anything. Her mother had dementia though. I changed her diaper, helped clean her, and help dress her. I cooked breakfast and lunch for both. I also did light housekeeping, changed the bed linens and also cared for their cat. Along with all of that, I also handled med management. I love caring for others. I am a mother and it brings me joy to make sure the needs of others are met. I hope to hear from you. Take care!
