I have been teaching elementary school for 13 years. Most of my experience is in first grade, but I have taught all of the elementary grades except third. I have a passion for teaching reading and when I received my Master's Degree in Education in 2013, I also had a concentration in reading. When I lived in Georgia, I spent one year in the early intervention program, and my job was to work with students in small groups all day, helping them to grow in reading and math. I also have an 8-year-old son who I love and have enjoyed helping him with his schoolwork.
