Hiring Jen was honestly the best thing I did for my husband, who suffered from end-stage Parkinson's. She was his favorite caregiver (and if you knew my husband, you would know what high praise this was). My husband wasn't ambulatory, but Jen was strong in providing nighttime care and giving him a shower and dressing him in the mornings. And the times that I needed her for daytime work, she made food for him and helped him go to the bathroom. Jen had a gentle touch - she was compassionate and caring (not just with him, and also with me), and you can sense this right away from her. She was always dependable, very proactive in his care, and went above and beyond in her duties, and my husband's mood was always a little bit lighter after spending time with her. I trusted her and always felt comfortable around her, which was very important to me after some negative experiences with previous caregivers. He passed away recently, and Jen was there faithfully until the end, even at the viewing, mass, burial, and reception. She was a pillar of support for me even after my husband was gone, and this is something truly remarkable and unique about her. I highly recommend hiring Jen for any care services - you can thank me later.
