Hello! I've been teaching junior high math (including algebra) and science for 15 years. Before this, I worked at Argonne National Lab as a scientist. After the birth of my third daughter, I left Argonne and took a few years off; then fell in love with teaching. I have tutored intermittently with younger kids through high school students. I am kind and patient, and bring humor into my work. I smile a lot, and I enjoy the one-to-one engagement of tutoring, in person and remotely. Most importantly, I am confident in my ability to help a student gain and retain knowledge.
