About Jessica

My name is Jessica and I am an Occupational Therapy Practitioner currently working at a rehabilitation center for older adults and geriatrics. I am from Oradell, NJ, but currently live in an apartment on the Upper East Side of Manhattan (my 3rd year here). I've babysat kids (babies to elementary age) ever since I was about 14 doing it as side jobs while I was still in school. A majority of my babysitting has involved after school pick-ups, nightly visits, full-day stays, preparing meals, and even some overnight stays/house sitting. I like being active with kids when they want to play around and I pride myself on being very patient. I rarely ever raise my voice, however, I do make sure any rules and expectations of parents are always followed. Working with children in OT is something that I am looking to transition to in my career as I've always loved children, so babysitting isn't just a duty for me, it's something that I genuinely enjoy as well.
