About Jessica

I am originally from Massachusetts, but I lived in Colorado for close to 4 years, in California, and recently moved to Seattle. I graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in Exercise Science. I've been involved with adaptive recreation through 3 nonprofits. I am actually a certified ski instructor, adaptive (Visual Impairment & Cognitive specialty) and alpine! I love animals (especially dogs), skiing, baking, reading, learning anything new, hiking, and traveling. Growing up, I babysat cousins, friends, neighbors, and was a part-time nanny as well. In the past, I worked for a day program primarily for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities where I received my QMAP certification and was additionally G-tube trained. I also worked at an assisted living facility in the memory care wing as a caregiver and QMAP. I don't currently have CPR or First Aid certifications, but can get them. Additionally, I am a Registered Behavior Technician.
