About Jessica

I have spent the majority of my life caring for children. I absolutely love working with them and can't fathom doing anything else! I started babysitting at 13. By high school, I knew I wanted to teach. In college, I studied Elementary Education. In 2006 I was offered a job in Green Bay as a bilingual kindergarten teacher, where I taught for 17 years. I loved teaching! But in 2019, my son was diagnosed with Leukemia, which forced me to find a different position. I am now a K-5 EL (English language) teacher in Manitowoc. Here, I found I enjoy working with the 5th graders as much as the Kinders! I recently began providing respite care for families of children with special needs. I am doing exactly what I love, & what I believe I'm "made for". I have 2 compassionate, creative, hilarious children, ages 9 and 14. Because I work full time, I am only available certain nights and on the weekends. In the summer, I would like to offer to nanny again!
