About Jessica

I worked full-time at a daycare center one summer and have been a 6-12 teacher for the past six years. As a former high school science teacher, I taught Physical Science, Zoology, Forensic Science, AP Environmental Science, and Study Skills. I was also head cheerleader coach and advisor for Senior Beta Club, a leadership development organization for high school scholars. As department chair of a middle school science department, I developed various physical science inquiry lessons and advised students on growth mindset principles. Additionally, I've worked to develop enrichment workshops and trips for high school students. Such activities included booking hotels, overseeing FDA lunch program adherence, arranging visits to museums, arranging skills workshops, and planning motivational events for over 60 participants.
