About Jessica

I have been working with children for over 16 years now (professionally) but I was blessed to grow up in a large family. I've had children around me my whole life. I am a graduate from University of Maine at Farmington with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. I am also the 2015 recipient of the Marcia Lovell award (an award given to recognize outstanding early childhood professionals who make significant contributions to the children, families, and communities in which they work and embody the ideals for which Marcia advocated- Better lives for children-Support for all children, including those most at risk and with disabilities -And the belief that the arts are an integral part of early education program) I am CPR and First Aid Certified. I am big on having children learn through hands on experiences and I believe play is important part of learning as well. I Love reading, being in outside when the weather is nice and being silly. I also have my own vehicle.
