About Jillana

Hi, my name is Jillana and I have had a lot of experience working with children. Most recently I have worked in a music school providing summer camp and music lessons to preschoolers. I also worked Reggio Emilie inspired preschool. I have experience working in a daycare setting with "wobblers" that were 1-year-old, and working in a relief nursery for at-risk children. I have had experience baby-sitting, leading art activities, being a boy scout leader, working with youth in residential care facilities and being a camp counselor. I have had experience planning art, music, sensory, science, math, and reading activities appropriate for children at many different levels of development. I have had experience with planning and cooking meals, light housework, tutoring, changing diapers, and administering medications. My favorite thing to do with children is to sing and play dramatically. I teach voice lessons and beginning piano and I would love to share my skills with your kids!
