I'm a conscientious LPN offering 27 years of long term geriatric care experience. I am truly passionate about providing nursing care to patients. I want to be the one who will make a difference when caring for a loved one. My patients appreciate my dedication and care and for that I am grateful. I like to follow the rules and have a strong sense of ethics in my profession and in life. I'm committed to assessing your loved ones needs and ensuring maximum comfort. I was a charge nurse for a 40 bed unit for 15 years at the same job. My duties included medication administration, overseeing CNA duties were completed. When short staffed I completed assignments with the CNA's that included bathing, dressing, and feeding patients. I also completed weekly rounds with the doctor to report patients conditions. Documentation and transcription of medical orders, wound care management, oxygen therapy, tube feedings. I also filled in to supervise when needed.
