I have been working in the child care field for over 15 years and absolutely love all that it entails. I worked for five years as a lead after school counselor at the Boys and Girls Club where I was responsible for up to 15 5-12-year-olds at a time. I spent the past 6 years as a nanny for two wonderful children, now ages 6 and 9. I am currently completing my Masters in Mental Heath Counseling with a focus in Play Therapy at Antioch University. I am looking for a job that works with my upcoming internship schedule, and a family that is the best fit!

Jillian was with our family for approximately two years, but will forever be a part of our family. I cannot adequately express how phenomenal Jillian has been with our kids in every aspect. She has a very natural gift with kids in terms of interacting with them, understanding their needs and providing loving, but firm boundaries. She is also great at creative, imaginative play. I was always amazed at what she was able to do with the kids each day. The kids regularly did art projects, baked, did science experiments, had outside play, went to different parks or other outings. My kids were always very happy and content when I came home. It is the first time that I ever felt at complete peace leaving my kids with somebody....I have total trust with Jillian. Jillian has a very strong bond with both of my kids but she has a special bond with my 4 year old boy who has an extreme speech delay. As I mentioned earlier, Jillian has a natural gift with kids and she has been the only other person in my sons life beside myself that really knew what he was trying to express and who he felt secure with at all times. She worked with him at his Montessori preschool (a very structured and challenging environment ) and did a fantastic job, took him to speech therapy and other related therapies. Overall, I feel that my kids are very blessed to have had Jillian in their lives. We will always keep in touch with Jillian and consider her a part of our family. Any family would be very blessed to have her in their kids' lives.
