About Jocelyn

Hello! My name is Jocelyn W. I am a 25-year-old DCFS certified childcare teacher with 4 years childcare experience. Only two classes stand between me and a master's degree in elementary education. I work at Prairie Pals Christian Preschool and Childcare full time, but I am wanting to work nights and weekends to make supplemental income while caring for kiddos! I am comfortable around all animals as long as they are relatively tame and would love to take care of them as well! Once I am licensed for k-8, would love to start my own Christ-centered childcare or homeschool that aligns with state standards. The small setting will allow students to pursue their own passions with my guidance and close collaboration with parents. I like working with kids because I believe that there is no greater purpose for me than to help young people grow into successful adults- in whatever way that they define "success." I love to teach them about the world we live in and the God who made it all.
