Joel is a really sweet guy who speaks very calmly and gently with the kids. My kids loved him. He has a lot of patience- too much, in fact. He could not establish boundaries to balance between two kids who were fighting for his attention. It was always quite chaotic when I got home. He lasted about a week in my home before he quit with virtually no notice. I think he'd be great for a night out situation, but I don't think he has yet developed the skill level for an ongoing day to day type of a commitment.
